Blob Opera
Game Description
Blob Opera is an experimental music game developed by David Li in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture. The game uses a machine learning model trained on real voices to make it easy for anyone to create amazing operatic music!
How to Play
- Launch the Game: Open Blob Opera on your device through the Google Arts & Culture website or app.
- Interact with the Blobs: You’ll see four colorful blobs representing opera voices (Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, and Bass). Click or tap on a blob to select it.
- Create Melodies: Drag your mouse or finger up and down to change the pitch of the selected blob’s voice. Move left or right to adjust vowel sounds (e.g., "Ah," "Oh," "Ee").
- Harmonize: Combine the voices by selecting different blobs and adjusting their pitches to create harmonies. The blobs will automatically sing in sync.
- Record & Playback: Press the record button to capture your composition. Play it back to listen or share it with others.
